Darker Than Black

For some reason Nameless remembers this animation today. To me, DTB is not as complicated as to decide which side is right and which side is wrong. It is more a search of the reason for existence. For Contractor or Doll, to find a reason to go on is important.

The most impressive part is Hei (black, kuro, BK201) wears a white mask when he performs mission of murder-assassination.  He is black, also he is white. Pai (white, Shiro, Hei's sister) is in him. Hei (black) acquired the assasin's skill and role BK201 from Pai (white). Black-and-white is his life, it is like to use truth disguise truth. It is a parodox of existence, which is the truth.

A lot more symbols, metophors,   references of Chinese character of colours, prophetic dialogues make this anime more than a Ragnarok story.
