The Black Rabbit Has Seven Lives: Introduction

 The Black Rabbit Has Seven Lives (いつか天魔の黒ウサギ, Itsuka Tenma no Kuro Usagi) is now on air in July 2011.

Based on homonymous light novel by Kagami Tagaya, who was also the author of The Legend of the Legendary Heroes, Kuro Usagi anime is a very romanticist creation that highlights the importance of promise and the never-ending circle of life, presented by Zaxces.

Story:
It all starts when Taito(Usagi) Kuro(Black)gane  received a kiss bounding his life with Saito Himea--one of the Ancient Vampires who bears eternity in her very blood. An ever-lasting love story is shadowed by  Hinata Kurenai who has forcefully separated Taito from Himea in pursuing of Himea`s primeval theotechnic power and erased Taito`s memory of his only love.

Nine years later, Taito has met Gekkou Kurenai  and his demon servant Andou Mirai (Mirai de Andou) and by accident recalled his remote promise to serve Himea with his life. Himea is awakened by Taito's regain of memory and tranformed into a 16 year old young lasse to meet Taito.

In fact, Gekkou is the twin brother of Hinata but is chased by the latter who has murdered his own parents in  return of the power to summon demons and seeks for the powers of the Ancient Vampires to resurect Bahlskra.


Gekkou Kurenai

 With the power given by Himea, Taito has seven lives and will fully recover to have another seven lives after 15 minutes when the sixth life is taken. It is said when the seventh life is taken, Taito will die forever. Taito is devoted to use all his lives to protect Himea and stay by her side till the end of both. What Taito does not know is that at the time when Himea kissed him for bounding their souls together, Himea has given up her eternity in exchange for the time being with Taito.

Will the two make the miracle? How can they survive Hinata's deadly chasing and attacks? The anime version will present a charming magic world and the answers to these questions.
